catching up

took me a while to get my act together after the speech therapist went, we had lunch then went over to Kirsty‘s to help Marcus celebrate getting older. The kids seemed to have a pretty good time together, and we adults nearly managed a conversation or two 😉

Bad night with both offspring after a very irritating evening – as we were late back I skipped their bath to let them have a few minutes just round and about and they were horrid! Then Small coughed and coughed and coughed and was miserable, and Big at some point came and got into bed with us as well, meaning that I really didn’t want to get up when the alarm went off, and neither did Tim, even though he had a meeting to get to.

He got away anyway, and we’re just mooching while I try to pull myself together again. Big has been staring at Adventures of the Wishing Chair, but I think that the small print is putting her off. Small has just gone chasing off after her, he seems fine this morning, not coughing much at all, so I think we’re still OK to go out this aft.
