My first under a minute daily setgame 😉

And that was with having to talk to children in the middle of it!
Edited to add Big’s first time: [Today’s puzzle completed 30 minutes, 39 seconds]

Need support for your home ed journey? Looking for tutoring for your young person? Have an idea for a collaboration? I’d love to hear from you!

After 20+ years of home educating my four children (two now adults), I’ve gathered a wealth of experience that I’m passionate about sharing. Beyond blogging and guest writing, I offer several services designed to support families on their home education journey.
I’ve put together a collection of resources that I’ve genuinely found useful over the years—things that have actually made a difference in our home education. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to freshen things up, there’s something here to help. These are the tools, guides, and materials I’d recommend to a friend, because they work.

1m10s – that was quite an easy one, wasn’t it, lol?
it was an easy one 1.26, though keeping pretense to chris doing something useful!
1.25!!! Broke the seven minute barrier sometime last week so this is a vast imrovement.
When are you going to do the ordering Jax? Do you want us to give you the money at Melrose?
I’m gonna order on Monday – got 11 names on the list now.
Hmm Helen, 4.00pm – that would be when you were ‘tidying’ the study….. Looks around…… Called yourself semi-domesticated……..
Oh dear, slumped a bit today. [Today’s puzzle completed 4 minutes, 32 seconds]
1m55. Completely random, my times, I’m illogical and don’t approach it in a systematic way!
Big is holding steady at around half an hour [Today’s puzzle completed 32 minutes, 46 seconds]
3 minurtes 11 today- i think that’s my best yet! :~D
1m 29s today….I am trying a new system…..
1 min 43 today for me. no chris, i said i was still semi feral, and had renounced tidying!!
1min 1s today 🙂 I was quite pleased – used C’s new system too, rofl!
You’ve devised a system??
that takes all the fun out of it. For the record, my sub minute attempt the other day didn’t use any system I’m aware of…but I suppose I could well be using one without knowing it.
I’m finding working with Big doing it interesting though.
What do you do then Jax? Stare at it till they pop out? I find that far too frustrating, I want to be doing something. Does make it less interesting though, I prefer the playing the actual game version at highergames.
Kind of, I suppose. Although I guess that I’m discarding possibilities as I go, I dunno, I’ll have to actually think about what I’m doing when I’m doing it tomorrow…
Well, trying to work out how I do it while I’m doing it is obviously a bad plan [Today’s puzzle completed 5 minutes, 9 seconds] although having a small child hanging off your arm during it doesn’t help all that much either 😉
i def go for stare and pop out for first 4 or 5, then scout around i gues in a more organised way for the last 1 or 2.
yes, I am allegedly tidying box room still! However 4 boxes seem full of chris junk
