Brain hurts

Writing questions is nearly as difficult as answering them!

Been a short day today – after a truly horrid night with the younger offspring, Tim let me sleep in til I woke independently – at 10 to 12! Told you I’d been tired 😉

Which meant that I felt full of energy and needing to do something, so I wrangled the children out of the house and we went to the scrapstore (which bizarrely doesn’t seem to have a website I can find, what an oversight!) Small had a lovely time there – they have a little table with crayons and stuff on it, and he did two pictures before losing interest and starting to wander around. There was no one else in, so I didn’t really mind him wandering either, the volunteers seemed rather taken with him, so it was mainly OK.

Big had a lovely time – she had a little bucket (smallest size, fill it and the contents cost 50p) and had brought her own money, so she thoroughly enjoyed finding things for her dollshouse (which I have promised to excavate tonight, so I can’t be too long blogging!) such as wallpaper (a large samples book for 30p), carpet (samples for I think about 10p) and curtain fabric (more samples, another 10p!)

I got some non branded fimo, for a couple of projects I have in mind, bought Small some more jigsaws, and picked up a few other bits. Including a foam ball for the Chesterfield group, must remember to call and let them know I’ve got it!

And then we went to Sainsbury’s and bought some more white mugs, so that Big can make Tim another mug. Apparently she’s going to make me one this time – she’s thinking about swirls 🙂 On to Aldi, for some shopping, and then attempting to take the back way home, we found a traffic jam. Ended up turning around and trying a different route, and it still took 1 1/2 hours to travel 12 miles. 🙁 Small of course slept the last 20 minutes, which meant he didn’t want to go to bed tonight.

But I must go and sort access to the dolls house and find the kitchen sink, so good night all.
