and this is why we pay for rac

Tim has just rung to say he’s on his way home. Riding in a truck, on the back of a lowloader. Looks like tomorrow’s Eureka trip will be postponed – the mondeo is out of action with an immobilised immobiliser. 🙁

Ah well, guess they’ll reschedule for later in the week.

The kids and I have had a lovely afternoon playing with mic-o-mic – working together to build it. I haven’t excavated a single area of the house, and I don’t feel (particularly) bad about it. And now it’s tea time.

  1. Oh no to the car 🙁 Mic-o-mic looks pretty cool. Is it like mechano?

  2. it’s easier than meccano in some ways – there’s only one type of joint really. The instructions are a bit bizarre – you get a flat plan of all the pieces and how they lay out, then a picture on the box that sort of shows it being built up. And that made no sense at all.
I really wish I’d bought more of them when I saw them in the works though, they’ve gone down a storm here, and meccano doesn’t really.
