And finally

because I can’t neglect this.

I think Small might have been trying to talk today. We got “dere” with gesticulation, several times. There was a “mamy” when he wanted picking up, and “lelo” when he was playing with the phone.

I know he isn’t very old yet, but Big was holding conversations at this age, and up until today, I wouldn’t have said there were even vague word sounds happening.

Right, and he’s trying to wake up now, so night night all.

  1. Hurrah for Small! I *love* it when they start to talk. Scarlett is doing sentences now and its so cute (and so much easier to know what it is they want!)
Now you are just waiting for your first ‘why?’ 🙂

  2. Marcus was slower too as you’ll remember but Alex is so much further on. When he was just 3 we were at the first lowestoft camp and I remember looking at Big and thinking Marcus doesn’t talk half as well as her. So he can’t have been talking that well and he was just coming up to 3 then. Alex is just past 3 and talks almost as well as Marcus. Some people said it was cos he is a boy, I’m not sure, I think it’s just cos he’s Marcus and they are all going to be different. And you know all that anyway so I’ll shut up 😉

  3. I love it when children talk ‘early’ – C didn’t talk at all until she was two; it is so cute to hear two year olds speaking.
