Big just brought me The Wishing Chair, and asked if we could read it together one day. So we sat down and puzzled out the first sentence together. 🙂 It’s good, this reading lark, isn’t it?
I also love that Small now picks up books and turns over the pages, while muttering “dbs, stb, shg” and so on to himself. He doesn’t speak, but he’s trying to read.

It’s fabulous – if you can get your offspring to try to read. D has declined all proffered reading books. 🙁 Don’t suppose you’ve finishes with those red nose readers, have you? At least Piglet has stopped denuding books and started looking at them.
