A NickJrCraftmas party!

Following the success of the recent Dora twitter party, I’m pleased to say I’m involved in another UKMumsTV party with Nick Jr (find out more here. This one is about Christmas crafts, and will be on Mon 1st Dec between 1 and 3 pm. We’ll be doing crafts, playing games, and hosting giveaways, along with a number of other bloggers.

We’ve been sent a fabulous bundle of crafts, like baubles, star garlands, and elf hats, including some great edible goodies – it’s possible that I may well be doing a Blue Peter with a couple of them, just so that I have marvellous pics to share with you at the time, obviously! (ahem. Social media followers may discover sneak peeks in photographic format, do find me on other networks.) So if you’re looking for ideas for Christmas parties of your own, twitter on Monday is the place to be, and there of course will be giveaways galore, so don’t forget the #NickJrCraftmas hashtag.

Be sure to follow me, @ukmumstv @NickJrUK and the other party hosts, who you can find via this handy twitter list I’ve compiled for you. I know. I’m so lovely. (I don’t know that it has all the party hosts on it, I’ll keep an eye out and add any more I spot so keep checking back.)

While we’re at it, what are your favourite Christmas crafts for children? I like a spot of needle felting, which is a lot easier than you’d expect, though probably good for children from 5 up, and does need close supervision. (Sharp needles. Very sharp.) We’ve also over the years made sewn felt ornaments, which is a good one for starting sewing, ooh, I wonder if Baker Ross have any…)

Disclosure: I have been sent craft goodies and will be recompensed for my time during the party.
