Hung out washing in the rain, brought in washing in the rain. In between it dried (well, mostly).
Wanted to blog the bits that were good of today – another page of the Jolly Phonics book, some sticker book work (odd books these, one is a spot the difference and fill it in with the right sticker, the other is Brum, complete the story. She found both of them rather more difficult than she had expected I think). Can that be called Art? Probably not.
Lots of imaginative play, some running around and screaming. Small has destroyed three books (including one library book, sigh) which was upsetting, I thought he was past that stage. And I’ve had nice chats with Kirsty and my mother, setting up to see Kirsty tomorrow, and arranging a sleepover date for Big with my mother, followed by a pink day (my mother’s term). They are going to go to M’hell, do haircuts, shop and have a nice lunch. I have absolutely no doubt that they will have a lovely time of it, and mother will be convinced Big is the child she should have had, and spend the day trying to work out where I came from!
Small has fallen asleep on the floor, which is bad, as I put him there expecting him to wake up. He fell asleep at 5.30, which doesn’t bode well for sleeping through tonight 🙁
Tim has been to see the osteopath, and seems a bit brighter for it, though he’s had to go for a lie down to get over the mauling. I’m hopeful that this will mark an upturn in his recovery. I’m working hard on being hopeful! Forgot to blog that I actually cooked something from scratch for us last night – Spanish Tortilla. It didn’t work as well as I’d hoped, but I’ve got some ideas why.
And that is most definitely your lot for the day!

My washing is still out there – wet and cold, and it can stay til next August if necessary!
The ring is no longer a ring, or more accurately it is a ring within a ring.
Chris???? Jax – you put the washing out in the rain?
Very confused now Chris!
one of the blogs appears to have the wrong code on it – I’ve hibernated it for the mo.
It was only a shower, started as I started putting it out, and I couldn’t be bothered to stop 😉
My washing’s still on the line too – I couldn’t be bothered to play hokey cokey today either!
Jax, maybe you should have another girl and you might get an un-pink version? It worked for me! 😉
9 years and she will be a darned Goth, I expect.
yep mine’s still out there too.
is that a circle in a spiral or a wheel within a wheel?
my girl is truly pink, but I am actually quite glad as I really wanted another boy and the only thing that got me through the shock was all the fluffy pretty stuff we could do together!
Nope – i’ve got three girls and they are ALL pink! And i wasn’t a pink girl at all – apart from ponies….
curious symmetry as you had the same for dinner as us! Good to meet today! Big & Lani & E got on amazingly. We’ll mail the promised bit of cake if you tell us your road name offline! (she really meant it … so she’d had a great time!)
