sleepy sunday.

Big made me giggle. “It’s February??? Already???”

Isn’t it us oldies that are supposed to be shocked at how fast the year is going?

Anyway, more crafting today. Finishing off the mermaid. This is the kit that we’ve been working from.

Now, unfortunately, Big’s camera has gone missing 🙁 She inadvertantly took it to school the other day, and none of the adults knew that she had. By teatime, it wasn’t where she’d put it. So for posting pictures of her finished mermaid, she’s going to have to borrow a camera off Small, but we can’t take any until the glue has dried. (Poor Maria is currently lying face down waiting for the glue to dry on the back of her necklace). We will return with pics.

Small had a bad night. I’m not quite sure what happened, but he was up and down wailing for about half an hour saying that his ear hurt. This is very unlike him, and put a big dent in my sleep. I have been up for an hour though, so I’m not doing too badly. This despite feeling terrible yesterday, doing absolutely nothing except crochet last night, and going to bed pretty early for a weekend.

Which means I have everything that I planned to do yesterday to catch up on today 🙁 There never seem to be enough hours in my non working time. I’ve decided to write up a business plan to present to my manager’s manager to explain the changes I’d like to make to make my team more productive, but I’m going to have to do that in my spare time as well. Still, if it pays off, I should have more spare time in the future 😉

Right, time for the first cup of tea of the day, and also to see if Tim is ready to join the land of the living. He had an even worse night than Small, was up for a couple of hours with indigestion. It isn’t all fun and games here at all 🙁

  1. Maybe the little ones are starting to catch on to time going to fast too. M mentioned something similar last night.

  2. Wail 🙁
I’ve got the fairy version of that kit on BM now 🙂

  3. Hope Small doesn’t have earache again tonight 🙁
Will be looking forward to mermaid photos; she looks intriguing!

  4. Big took them – I’m hoping that her and Tim might put them online tomorrow 🙂

  5. Its no fun here either, HRH and Luna have had BAD nights for about 4 nights now, they suddenly devlop ‘really’ noisy irretating coughs at night, No one seems to be able to chuch this latest bug off, we are very tired!
    Hope small is ok now.
