Yesterday I got up and

ran 1.5 miles. (in 15.09 minutes, breaking my standard 10 minute mile pace.)

Washed up several times.

Put washing through, brought washing in, hung washing out.

Fed the baby, not sure how many times.

Changed nappies.

Swept the kitchen floor, hoovered the hall and bathroom.

Emptied the bathroom and kitchen bins.

Chivvied children into finding (most of their) library books, and made it to the library. (Found and borrowed one of my all time fave children’s books, A Wrinkle in Time which I’m hoping to read aloud with the kids.)

Shopped for food on the way back.

Cooked the food, from scratch – vegetable stew and dumplings with mashed potatoes (this may not sound like a biggy, but it is to me).

Picked up a laundry basket worth of stuff from the living room floor and sorted it. (You can’t actually see a difference, but I know I did it.)

Finished the day by #slendertoning while clearing 1400 emails out of my inbox, responding to real emails and writing up reviews for the Great Toy Guide.

Day of rest anyone?
