Would you buy a used submarine from this man?

Phoney TonySsh, keep it quiet, mate. If you have been following the press you will probably have read how this diamond geezer recently managed to shift a job lot of low mileage subs to a bunch of Canadians.

Well, they come over here with their fat wallets, like it grows on trees, innit.

Dodgy second hand sub All genuine, low mileage models, fully loaded, inside toilets, the works.

Just be careful and pop outside if you need a fag.

Wouldn’t want any nasty accidents would we?

New MOTs, all checked art over at the friendly local Naval yard.

Sold as seen, mate, know wot I mean.

Mrs Battenburg And, of course…,

one careful lady owner.

Although I think they were probably just registered in her name for insurance purposes and one of her boys was really the driver.

“Canada’s defence minister…Bill Graham…would not rule out the possibility of seeking compensation from the UK Government over the purchase of the vessel and three others.”

Bloody cheek, you try and do a little country a favour with a bunch of cheap subs and look at the thanks you get.
