We’ve had the offer of a rescued chicken at school, and it is something we’ve considered previously. But we’ve also had problems with a mink taking our rabbits, so I’m wondering how on earth we’d keep a chicken safe – I’d be very grateful for any input from anyone with experience 🙂

Who rescues chickens? Rescuing? They don’t need rescuing, they need stuffing.
Chickens are brilliant, but to be fair on the bird, you need to find it a friend.
A chicken wire pen will keep the bird safe, or you could check out the Eglu to give you some idea of what a chook Hilton looks like 🙂Reason we’re being offered it is that the other hens it is with are bullying it so it needs to live alone?
