When I said there would be more blogging

I wasn’t joking 🙂

Still feeling really tired most of the time – it’s beginning to bother me a bit. Spent an hour or so pottering about trying to clear one of the sofas yesterday and at the end of it really needed to sit down. Ah well, got another three days before I’m supposed to be back at work 😕

Nearly finished the crochet purse that I started yesterday. (I actually got it from the blog before this but I can’t find it there any more, so you’ll have to go through the lulu thing if you want it). It looks like it’s going to be very pretty, if just a touch smaller than it’s supposed to be – I really must start doing gauge squares! Also really must take some pictures of all this stuff and blog them.

In the rest of today there hasn’t been a lot. I started the day by ranting at the WWF – we ordered some stuff from their store the other day, and while it has arrived rapidly, it really isn’t up to scratch. The good news so far though is that after *several* very calm phone calls (you know the type) I’ve finally managed to extract the correct pay information from that employer personage from years past. Yeah, I can satisfy the tax office!

Small isn’t well tonight – his cough and cold seem to have escalated into a temperature and lack of appetite. Rather glad they didn’t go to school today as I think we’d have been called back to get him early. Did manage to spend some time on the floor playing with him – he really loves his ideal blox, even if we have irritatingly lost a single white one. Spent some time chatting with Big as well – trying to encourage her to actually do something with her time at home. She had the gall to tell me tonight that she doesn’t have time to read – so I said that maybe if the tv (computer thing) wasn’t on quite as much she’d have more time 😕

Right, must finish my purse and work out what I want to do next. Still haven’t received either of my yarn orders, although have now been told one of them has been despatched. Here’s hoping that tomorrow is a day of many parcels! 😀

  1. When I had glandular fever it was hard to adjust to getting tired out by the smallest things, so I’m sorry to hear you’re still suffering. Could you knit a jumper for yourself with go-faster stripes or something? (Maybe it’s too tricky to get the correct wool.)
I’m glad you’ve finally managed to scale the wall of bureaucracy, and hope you enjoy the sunshine of tax correctness :). Hope Small feels better soon. The nice thing about playing on the floor is that it can double as a bed.

  2. I’ll send you a white one 🙂
Take care and take it slowly; pretty sure being that tired is pretty normal, so long as nothing else is amiss.

  3. For a moment there I thought you meant a white parcel!
A white block would be excellent though.

  4. More than happy to do so 🙂 If it doesn’t turn up next week, email me and be abusive 🙂

  5. giggle. Three parcels have arrived this morning – two of yarn (one from texere is disappointing, not sure the colours really do work 🙁 ) and one which I shall blog separately.

  6. Tiredness, yes, I think that’s pretty much okay for a few weeks, obviously if you are paler than normal go and ask the Dr if you are anemic.
    Yippeee to sorting out exemployers
Grr to yarn colours not being what you want them to be 🙁
