What a week.

Started with the social media frenzy that was the Three competition (still reeling from winning that. Continued through the fairly standard week of swimming and so on. Then on Friday, had an afternoon nap and woke up to find twitter abuzz with news of our Butlins Ambassador status!

That’s a bit good that is 🙂

Brought down to size this afternoon though when I wrenched my back taking the tent down (it’s been airing in the garden since our return from Kentwell, and every time we tried to take it down, it rained 🙁 ). So have an inordinate amount of pain starting in the left side of my back and radiating down the front of my thigh. And I still can’t find my camera.

Ah well. Back to browsing tent stores looking at tents I can’t afford. Hohum.

  1. Do you get a week at Butlins at least? Then you won’t need the tent!

    1. We get two butlins breaks, looking forwards to them already. But the tent was for a potential kentwell trip, they’re having an extra weekend and I can’t face putting up our big tent for two nights, particularly as I wrenched my back taking it down yesterday.
