Washing baby clothes.

It doesn’t tend to rain here for long, so Sunday was sunny again. This would of course explain why the children spent most of the day attached to the computer yet again. This will wear off, won’t it? At some point they will develop other interests as well?

Small does do other things too. He had printed out some figures from the timetravellersgo website and spent some time reinforcing them with cardboard so that they would stand up. Quite a lot of time in fact. And for a while, I sent them outside, but that was curtailed when he managed to run into a spiky hedge and come back in with both hands cut and scratched 🙁

They did take a break from computer later on to spend some time staring at the screen in a different mode – watching Inspector Gadget’s Field Trip and then The Wizard Of Oz. They even went through lots of the addons, which appeared to be mainly still pictures of alternate looks for many of the main characters. Very odd.

Tim went out for his lunchtime drink, though currently bereft of his brother’s company as they’ve gone on holiday. And I tried unsuccessfully to drag myself off the internet and instead read a book online and then managed to motivate myself to wash two bags of baby clothes that came from Jan and are supposed to be on their way to Em. Quite a lot of them went to Jan from us, and had come from one of Big’s friends to us, so it was great to see familiar items again, although I’d underestimated how many pegs I was going to need, so there’s still a load in the washer waiting to go out today!

And now for a moan. I don’t remember my legs swelling last pregnancy in the way they are doing this time. It seems to be that I can be reasonably active and that will stop my legs swelling but my back and hips will hurt, or I can do a fair amount of sitting about and my legs swell til the skin hurts but my back is quiet. Harumph. And I’ve another three months of this. Not very impressed. Although I feel like I shouldn’t complain, having gone through three miscarriages to get this far, and knowing that many ppl suffer far worse than this.

Anyways, that’s the moan over with. Finished the day for the children by reading them yet more Kaspar and that was pretty much that.
