Small is on a mission to destroy. Anything that isn’t tied down is fair game – I came in from the kitchen while cooking tea to discover him trying to break into my laptop. And the fact that he won’t talk is really getting on my wick – the constant scream of “mummeeeh” with pointing and grunting is wearing out my self confessed lack of patience extremely rapidly.
I think we are all still tired from the hols 🙁 Big has entertained herself mostly today, with lots more Jump Ahead, and then it was our puddlers group this aft. We’d preplanned hama and it worked very well, with both children and adults getting independently stuck in, and several ppl using the Hama Inspiration Books I’ve got from BeadMerrily 🙂 Jayne brought along her face paints and worked her way through a goodly proportion of the children – I’ve got a picture of Big done up as a butterfly.
Small was thrilled with a set of small cars from Kris, intended to be his birthday present, but they were possibly poxy at the time. It included a Discovery, and they went down well with Kirsty’s M as well.
And now I’m very tired. Big is having her bedtime story, Small is vegging out to Max and Ruby, and I’m really hoping he’s going to go to bed soon too, as I’ve a few bits I ought to get finished, I want to get some more washing running through, check the stuff on the line, clear the kitchen and start on some paying work.

Aah the joys of little boys. Small reminds me so much of my brother (although him being two years older I obviously don’t remember him at Smalls age) who still hasn’t grown out of the mission to destroy aged almost 42. However, it is now disguised as ‘wanting to know how it works so I can mend it’ rather than mission to destroy. Come to think of it – small reminds me so much of other half……..
