  1. OMG! *cringe*

  2. I saw this light night. Perfect material for the American version of the Office. I can’t believe they did this with a straight face and then got a standing ovation!
Given that U2’s royalties from when they sold it as a single went to AIDS research I do hope the Bank of America makes a very sizeable donation off the back of this rip-off.

  3. I can’t believe the breathy intensity. Beyond belief!
I don’t know if it’s made better or worse by the fact that they seem not completely naff at singing / playing guitar.
“Have you come here to play Jesus to the lepers in your head?” becomes
“Have you heard about Michelle Shepherd – she’s leading the team in the North East”. Rock on.

  4. you’ve obviously never worked for a bank Chris, I was expecting the standing ovation. I very much doubt that it’s Bank of America that have published the rip off though, I’d imagine there’s some very red faces and probably an internal inquiry going on.
Bob, made worse. And even more so by the podge.

  5. I didn’t think for one minute it would have been released by the bank, but they must be aware it’s out there and therefore I hope they make a nice fat donation to someone.
No have never worked for a bank and can’t fathom how anyone could for more than one day if it means being such a sycophant when faced with utter utter crap.

  6. It doesn’t.
Not that I think the above fits the description of utter utter crap, though some of the internal motivational stuff we were faced with did. That was why, when I was invited to a breakfast meeting with a director, I was less that complimentary about it all. This didn’t appear to be marked against me, if my continued rapid career progression (right up til I opted for redundancy) was anything to go by.
Have you had a bad day at your chosen workplace Chris? You appear to be exceptionally grumpy tonight.

  7. Had a great day. It’s blogs that make me grumpy. I really shouldn’t read them.
