tidy up and wait

Anticipating visitors on Friday afternoon/ evening, we spent most of Friday morning attempting to process washing and find floors. Some of us were more successful than others. 😉 And by lunchtime I’d had about enough of my acid reflux, and headed off down to the chemists next to the doctors to pick up my Gaviscon. (Excellent service from the doctors there, midwife organised the prescription, receptionist took it to the chemist, and all I had to do was walk in and pick it up 🙂 .)

That also gave me a lovely stroll out in the afternoon sun – nice day on Friday. Again.

Kirsty and co arrived late afternoon, and the children all seemed very happy to see each other, clearing off into the garden promptly and playing with very little requirement for any adult intervention. My kind of evening. Tim and James went to the club and Kirsty and I talked about LAs, paperwork and far more fun, yarn 🙂

Children were very late to bed, and we weren’t much better, and that was Friday 🙂
