Be present.

lol! but i know what happened then!

  5. I’d like the negatives of home ed – it will help me get a perspective on my struggles, and help me know I’m not alone! LOL In fact, why not go for a ‘bad home ed day’ carnival? I saw Rita’s post (8 go mad in Islington) and I can relate to so much!

why the clocks should (or shouldn’t) go back?

  7. Definetly the negatives. I struggle with them on and off but honestly, i think there’s always going to be struggling days no matter how many children i did or didn’t have, and no matter how they were educated.
Having said that, it’s always helpful to discover you’re not alone, and even better to glean new tactics to try!

  8. I blogged about the bad days, a couple of years ago (when I used to blog reasonably regularly…) http://thejumps.co.uk/2008/02/02/a-little-more-on-the-bad-days/ . The bottom line is that when you take an unusual decision, you feel compelled to demonstrate to all and sundry that it wasn’t a mistake. Every bad day is met with people around you who say “Bet you wish she was in school, now!” and it infuriates me. Because sometimes, your kids drive you nuts, however you educate them!

    1. @Ruth I’m fairly sure I’ve blogged the bad days before as well. Hm….yes, here it is.
But I am getting the impression a bad day blog carnival would go down well, so off to post a call for posts 🙂

  9. @Chris I’ll add that to the list 🙂
