The world according to Small

Attempting to catch him for his bath tonight, I said, “Small, am I going to carry you upstairs by your feet?”

“No!”

“Oh, are you going to walk then?”

“No! Run…..” and off he went, demonstrating 😉

Once I’d got him upstairs, I started undressing him as the bath ran. Top off, trousers off, nappy. He looked down in surprise. “Mummy, my nappy gone”

“Yes”

“Nappy gone”

“yes”

“Nappy ‘peard”

“Eh? Um, do you mean disappeared?”

“MMM! nappy ‘peard!”

Oookay.

  1. Wow, he’s really taking off. That’s so exciting!
He was great yesterday running round with an owl mask on, saying owl, owl, owl, and later, twit twoo, twit twoo.

  2. Yes, I enjoyed that as well. I noticed that someone was aiming a camera at him a fair bit – Jonathan’s dad perhaps? Will you get to see the piccies? Would love a looksee if you do.

  3. Yes, Jonathan’s Dad was official photographer. He’s quite good at getting prints from his digital pix, so I hope we’ll have both
