The best laid plans

of mine never work out.

We did some maths (Exeter of course 😉 ), we did some reading, we did more Studydog. You’re right Merry, that’s starting to look like a blogring curriculum! 🙂

We didn’t do a whole lot else. I did hear her learning some Spanish from Dora, and Small did a lot of building and destroying (that boy! He even tore the picture off a jigsaw piece…not impressed 🙁 ) I finished another three crochet squares, so I’m up to 12. Quarter of the way there, but I’m getting quicker, so I *might* almost finish them on time.

I did take delivery of a rather wonderful little toy though…

new toy

Isn’t it cute?? Another step closer to reclaiming my dining room.

And that’s about your lot for the day. I’m tired, it’s bed time.

  1. TBH my first impression of your toy was that it was an unusual shape for a toy, then realised you were an IT bod not gynae! [not that i have gynae toys, weirdly shaped or not!]

  2. Looks like a rodent shaped vibrator!

  3. ROFLMAO….it’s a cat! Honestly, it doesn’t look anything like a rodent…

  4. a cat shaped what?

  5. thought you weren’t turning the pc on this morning, Heather 😉 Is it your book scanner thingy then, Jax?

  6. It is indeed Sarah!

  7. ah, a cat!!

  8. I looked at these when I was looking but was put off (without investigating) by the huge amount of controversy surrounding them.
Are the issues relating to the GUID non-issues in the UK?

  9. If you are registering them and using them with the barcodes in the media (not that I’ve ever seen a barcode in the media in this country) I don’t know whether the issues exist. If you are using them without software simply to scan barcodes, and they don’t get to connect to the internet, I can’t see that there can be any issues.

  10. Even better- Sarah, I forgot to switch it off last night so just had a quick peek…..
