That'd be those lovely friends again…

Took a while to get going this morning (yes, another bad night, Small has a cough now to go with his cold 🙁 ) which annoyed me slightly as we were supposed to be going to Barbara’s to meet up with Kirsty as well. Finally got there just before 12 (I do not know how I used to get to work for 8….) and once we’d ironed out the inevitable gripes over toys and so on, settled down to a lovely time.

Then I did an enormously brave thing, and left both children with Barbara and Kirsty, and went off to shop *on my own*! I did Lembas and Aldi and the Coop, so not exactly exciting but such a different experience without assistance 😉

Got home about half an hour ahead of Kirsty bringing Small, so in time to have put most of the shopping away. Big is staying over at Barbara’s in case you were wondering. Small took a while to settle down tonight – he is very sorry for himself. I’m sure Big is having a wonderful time though 🙂 Kirsty and co stopped for tea, so that was pleasant too.

Have spent the evening pondering on email and how it can come across to ppl, as well as wondering how many emails with my name in the subject line are going to come out of muddlepuddle…well, in between trying to get Small to bed and having tea.

  1. you beat me to it :o) I’ve tried but I’ve no idea if blogger has taken my post or not. If it has there will be no doubt 50 copies of it, or nothing!
Glad you had a good day though, and hope it helps in the long run. Still waiting for your reply to muddlepuddle thuogh ;o)

  2. Wow, you did well out of the child-sharing arrangement today then – nice to go shopping alone, isn’t it?
It has been an interesting day on MuddlePuddle, hasn’t it? 😉

  3. Well done on the shopping without children Jax – what’s been going on in Mud Pud today???? Just off to read my email – haven’t had time today.

  4. Ooh, you still up then? Have been waiting for you to pop up on MSN as it’s a bit late to phone. If I’m delivering Big back to you at the Chesterfield group, I’d better find out where it is! Oh, and I’m bringing Paula too.
‘Fraid I haven’t blogged tonight though – been too busy catching up on emails and other people’s blogs 😉

  5. Hmmmm… was a BIT annoyed that blogger died the instant i turned down your wordpress offer.
Glad you had a good day though – honestly, that seems to be all i manage to say in comments at the moment! *rolls eyes at self!*
