thank you Merry

I think you’ve started our first proper project!

Due to this: Beadmerrily design competition

we found this: Rainforest which has given us half an hours of talking about the rainforest and its animals and plants. We’ve also covered propaganda, food miles, vegetarianism and recycling, and discussed in what ways the site isn’t accurate, which is a good start to evaluating information.

However, I do need to know how to occupy Small while we’re doing this kind of thing, because letting him empty the cereal cupboard all over the floor so that he doesn’t attack the computer or scream in our ears is not a good way forward.

Off to sweep up the kitchen floor….

  1. LOL, i have had those moments when after some *me* time. Good luck with the comp.

  2. Nice rainforest link, thanks

  3. Hmmm, move the cereal and put something chuck-aroundable in its place? Or a couple of large towels, a shallow bowl of water and a few plastic cups usually go down quite well here 🙂

  4. lol – glad to be of service – how about a tray and a load of maxi beads??? Ammi has just spent a happy hour like that!
