{wanting} to record snippets even though it’s not Saturday. It’s my post, so I can do it how I like I guess, given I never managed to build it up into a community linky.
{trying} as ever to declutter. Slowly slowly isn’t working. Konmarie involves getting rid of books (shudder) so I didn’t even get as far as buying hers (can I call that pre-emptive decluttering?). I *have* taken stuff to charity, batteries to recycling and removed 6 books I won I’m never going to read. So that’s a bit anyway. The thought of Christmas heaps of presents is depressing me though.
{struggling} with lack of light and exercise. Would like to get out on the bike again, but it has been so wet that I’ve been put off the idea, given that I don’t have any kind of cycling gear. I have raincoats, but what do people wear on legs??
{reading} Yes, finally! Broke the reading slump with a sneak peek at a forthcoming title (It is good to be friends with authors, real live published authors with actual books, even if they forget they are such a person 😉 )
{drawing} intermittently. And trying to analyse why I am so bad at daily challenges. I sabotage myself, and I don’t know why.
{reading} so much about adult autism and female autism, and thinking that the disability aspect of it is so much to do with just being out of step with the neurotypical world. I said as much in a support group, and also how I find it ironic that it is supposed to be the people with this disability that have to make the changes, and was told that that is just practical and the way it is. Don’t see that argument being applied to physical disabilities though, do you? Ridiculous to say no, you’ll just have to crawl up the steps to a wheelchair user, so why is it OK to say to someone with sensory issues, or anxiety, or social problems – you just have to make the effort? <end rant>
{baking} to use up sad bananas. Brownies and banana bread anyone?

Big has done her mocks, and despite the ridiculousness of school withholding the results so that they can have a mock exam day, she seems to have made good progress, particularly in maths. Small has braces! He’s managing well in the main, although still somewhat reluctant to clean as often as the orthodontist said he should. Why is everything mint flavour? Smallest is on a Christmas countdown, which is amusing and challenging all at once. Tigerboy is very three, utterly adorable at one moment, a screaming ball of fury another. Am trying to be calm as we go.
I have not drawn as much as I should recently, but this was OK
[will add when I work out which device the picture I wanted is on!]
