For the wage slaves. I am currently working in what is just about the nicest office building I have ever been in.
I took this photo in the grounds early this morning.

Need support for your home ed journey? Looking for tutoring for your young person? Have an idea for a collaboration? I’d love to hear from you!

After 20+ years of home educating my four children (two now adults), I’ve gathered a wealth of experience that I’m passionate about sharing. Beyond blogging and guest writing, I offer several services designed to support families on their home education journey.
I’ve put together a collection of resources that I’ve genuinely found useful over the years—things that have actually made a difference in our home education. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to freshen things up, there’s something here to help. These are the tools, guides, and materials I’d recommend to a friend, because they work.

Now that is nice. My office is my home so it’s lovely!
My last office was in a vast Vistorian House in grounds like that, and the view from my window was fantastic. But now I don’t even have a window. Or an office, come to that.
My favourite office was in a practice in Dorking, with a view over denbies vineyard. http://www.denbiesvineyard.co.uk/
Now I have a few big silver birch trees with lots of birds in which is nice too.
Oooh, that is a lovely view. Our office looks out onto a forecourt full of cars, unsurprisingly 😉

is where DH is this week. Very nice as an area but he was so cold yesterday he had to go out and buy a jumper thanks to the over efficient air con!
I have no idea what he can actually see in his regular for this contract office since I don’t think based on his comments sometimes that he actually can see a window!
Until I moved offices the week before last, the one I was in had very comfy informal seating areas, kitchenettes in every area and a fully suited gym with sauna, whirlpool, etc.
I forgot the camera this week. But in a couple weeks I’ll be posting some new photos.
Now that sounds like an office I can cope with. Have just discovered that if I walk the opposite direction to normal out of my current one, there’s a rather nice canal and towpath – have been walking up the side of the dual carriageway which is not nearly as pleasant.
