So much to say

so little inspiration on where to start.

A report on the day – quick trip to supermarket this morning to replenish milk supplies – so handy having a coop within staggering distance. Never have quite worked out why popping out for milk costs £15 though…

Then the osteopath, lovely lady. I was a minute or so late, as I parked the car, walked away from it, and then watched in disbelief as four boys set up a football game two cars away from mine. In Morrison’s carpark. So I went into Morrison’s and asked if they intended to do anything about it – apparently not. So then I went and moved the car somewhere safer.

I mean, I know I’d seen the GOAL! with goalposts painted on the wall, but I’d assumed that was used when the shop was shut. Not when the carpark was full of cars. Just in the couple of minutes I was there the football got stuck under one car, and then booted out of the park so one lad had to climb over the wall to fetch it. Not that I have a huge problem with the playing of football, but in the middle of a busy carpark? Doesn’t seem like a particularly good idea.

So, osteopathy. A gentle stretching and rubbing massage, trying to figure out what precisely I’ve done to my back this time. It appears that it isn’t sciatica as that doesn’t cause pain down the front of the leg, so it probably involves my femoral nerve instead. But the bit of my back that should have been tight wasn’t, and the pain in my back is in the wrong place – I do enjoy being a challenge. Not.

Bad afternoon following the session – I really just wanted to lie down, but even though Smallest nodded off on my lap, when I put her in bed and lay down with her, she got up again and demanded I did too. 🙁

Evening – well, it’s Friday, so that means it’s swimming. And chips. I do like chips. Everything went a bit pear shaped after tea, but I’m hoping that was just to do with tiredness. Of which I have much. Really hoping Smallest decides it’s bedtime soon.
