Slightly worried

Small fell asleep curled up on the floor at about 12.30 today. I picked him up, took him upstairs, changed his nappy while he cried 🙁 and then put him into his bed and cuddled him for a minute while he fell asleep again.

He hasn’t woken up yet. I’ve been up and checked a few time, he barely looks like he’s moved. I think he’s probably got a bit of a temperature, but nothing drastic, and there don’t seem to be any other symptoms.

But I don’t think he’s partying tomorrow, and I’m now wondering whether a busy youth hostel is the best destination for the day after.

Bother. Poor little boy.

eta Seconds after I published this I was summonsed upstairs by a wailing creature who had woken up all hot and confused. He’s now cuddled up on the sofa with his sister watching Dora. He looks a bit happier but nowhere near right, and certainly not like he’s just had four hours sleep!

  1. Oh dear 🙁

  2. Mine are similar. Sorry.
I have one wheezing and doing that almost throwing up thing every time he coughs – which is every few minutes. He is getting dosed on inhalers in tha hope I can prevent a full chest infection. The smaller one is simply slimy and full of snot. We have had up and down temps since late Weds night but they seem to be settling now.
    ((hugs)) for you all.

  3. Poor Small, it’s horrid when they’re poorly :o(
