Slightly stunned – the Brilliance in Blogging shortlist

It’s the end of the year, and there’s a variety of top 10s, award lists and year in review round ups going on wherever you turn. Blogging is no different, and this week the inaugural Brilliance in Blogging shortlist is out.

I’m slightly stunned to say that I appear on it, in the Make a Difference Blogger 2010 category. 😯

I’m not sure I’ve ever been nominated for an award before. (Apart from the blogring awards, really ought to resurrect them!) I’m certainly somewhat abashed to be in the same category as Rosie Scribble who made a trip to Cameroon with Pampers and Unicef, or Josie, Eva and Sian following their Blogladesh trip, or even the inestimable Grit. I’d certainly like to feel that I’m making a difference, but I’m not sure I’m quite in that league yet. Maybe next year, if I do manage to gather the funds to build a library or two 😉

Anyway, I’d like to say thank you very much for your nominations so far, and while I’d love it if you did vote for me, I will quite understand if you don’t. But please do consider taking the time to vote 🙂
