Skips in the street

There are two houses further down our road with skips outside. One, a bungalow, has all sorts of furniture littered around it, sofas, a bed. I’m guessing they’ve lost just about everything. It’s a very sad sight, even more poignant than the sandbags which are still lining the pavement edge.

It’s raining again here, which fits well with my rather grey mood. Tim took the cat and got him perforated this morning – second vaxs and identichip. He’ll be able to go outside soon (the cat, not Tim) will probably let him out first of all when it’s raining so that he doesn’t go far. 👿 (Oh no, I don’t think that smilie works since the upgrade 🙁 )

Children aren’t too well – Big coughed herself into throwing up last night, but did pretty much make it to the toilet, so at least that wasn’t too bad. Small is being grotty with her, they are both under the weather. Much watching of tv going on today, although that may also be part of the problem.

This is even depressing me, so I’ll stop now.
