  1. Air brick? Or a very (very) cheap and nasty potato waffle?
Either way a great picture, I love the pinky/red and the black smudges – a simple picture but very effective!

    1. Lol, right with your first guess. Bit of a frustrating shot though…although yes, was quite pleased with the look of it!

      1. Thank goodness, I was going to ring environmental health. That would be one dangerous potato waffle!
        Why frustrating?

        1. Because it wasn’t the brick I was trying to get the picture of…. 😉

  2. Wasps?
Now you have me intrigued (read as nosy).

  3. Adds a new meaning to ‘Get some fresh air this Sunday’.

    1. Oh, I got plenty, sitting there for ages…

  4. So what were you trying to get a pic of??

    1. Bees. I think we have a small hive in there. They were arriving fairly regularly, laden with nectar and disappearing in faster than my phone could focus!

  5. Gridlock! Or simply a silent Sunday :o)

    1. Actually there was a slight buzzing sound.

  6. I do like shots like this that have texture to them and no people. Must try to carry out off sometime. In the meantime, more mundane stuff over at Giggling at it all.

    1. Hi Kate, thanks for commenting. I don’t know whether you’ve noticed, but when you fill in the link to your blog in the website url box above, it also picks up your most recent post and links it below. There’s absolutely no need to link to your blog in the main body of the comment, so I’ve removed that link.
