    Picture the scene: It is Big’s big day. A blissfully happy couple walk out into the sunshine as ‘Mr. and Mrs.’ After a few minutes, there is an outbreak of ribald mother-in-law/elderly mother jokes. You know: ‘Looking forward to knitting bootees, Jax?’ etc., etc.
    Then the radiant mother-of-the-bride opens her handbag…
