Saturday snippets 8 February 2014

{Putting off} running, although I made it out everyday.

{Enduring} the kind of 20 minutes that every parent dreads. (Two children. Two bottoms. Two bathrooms. 1 shower.)

{wishing} that I didn’t have to shop and plan and stuff.

{Dreaming} of chocolate. With free books.

{Reading} independent study (the testing 2). And the great treefle hunt. #300PBs

{Watching} the Croods for #familyfilmnight. It’s rare words fail me. But they did after this. Just what was it meant to be? The kids laughed quite a bit. Tim and I sat in horrified disbelief.

{Snapshots} Big has exercises to do to straighten her back, hoping that it’s not scoliosis after all. Small found out he won a raspberry pi, and did a great lego animation for another competition. Smallest is launching into writing, she’s acquired a lot of letters along the way. Tigerboy said Dada out loud for the first time.

  1. Wow – he won a raspberry pi – well done to him. Keep updated about his progress with it as we want to get one for big T soon.
Sounds like a good week – your dreams are the same as mine:)

    1. I’m going to encourage him to blog about it 🙂

  2. Such a cute photo 🙂

    1. Thanks. Love selecting them.

  3. Wow to winning a Raspberry Pi! Hope he does well in the next competition 🙂 I totally agree with the desire not to have to plan and shop.. I need to do our weeks meal plan now and then the online shop.. when all I really want to do is go to bed! I wish, just for once, someone else would do it.
We’ve not seen The Croods .. is it one to miss then?!

    1. Depends on your position on green sabre tooth tigers and flying piranha birds really.

      1. Hmm, probably similar to yours …
