{looking at} maps. Lots of maps. And starting a board on Pinterest. where I now have a business account, but as it won’t let me verify my website, I don’t think it makes a great deal of difference. Do let me know if you’ve any creative boards I can follow though 🙂

{sitting} in my little green tent for hours. Two hours yesterday, hour and a half today. Yesterday I got the blackbird picture. Today, nothing really. I’m hoping for seagulls, but they’re really nervous about gardens, and just as they were circling today the children came down to find me. Not a very successful hide really :/

{drawing} with oil pastels. But I think maybe it’s soft pastels I actually want. Things you can blur and smudge and mix together? I’ve lost my little watercolour box as well, which is annoying me hugely. Need to tidy up the living room to find it.

{feeling} very out of sorts this evening. Something is out of sync, not sure what. It might just be that going out 4 times in under a week was too much (for us all!) and that it’s going to take me a few days to pull myself round, or it could be approaching that glorious celebration time of the month, or I might just not have had enough chocolate. I’ll see what I can do about that last one at least 😉

{water painting} on the patio again. Actually anything that keeps the children cool in this weather is good. And water play works well for that, even if it’s generally kind of loud.

Camera battery is charging, so I’ll pop the pic in tomorrow.

Here we go

Smallest in garden

Snapshots

Big has been doing some creative writing and book reports this week. Small has had a quiet week – he was sick one night so didn’t come to London on Wednesday for a Tudor afternoon. Smallest enjoyed her swimming lesson this week and being a tudor – she calls herself a Kentwellie 🙂 Tigerboy has had a great week, London 3 times, and he tried to run away with the fairies. Not sure Oberon knew what he was letting himself in for!

I’m trying to draw regularly as well as reading (3 books this week!) and I’ve also started listening to the Problogger podcast. Trying to make myself develop some successful habits now 🙂
