Saturday snippets 3rd November 2012

{watching} the Pirates! in an Adventure with Scientists. Rather fun, and appreciated by the whole family. An excellent family film night choice.

{reading} Grace under Pressure by Sophie Walker. Read four chapters. Want to read it all now.

{eating} roast chicken. Yes, me too. Didn’t enjoy it, and feel uncomfortably bloated after only one slice.

{planning} my secret Santa.

{enjoying} a walk out alone to look at the sea, with a sneaky Belgian bun on the way.

Snapshots.

{Big} has a list and is reading her first Anne McCaffrey. I started her on dragon song.

{small} has one bar left to finish the year he is doing on Mathletics. We are reaching some agreement on how education should occur.

{smallest} is beautiful and bright and hungry to learn. Though not quite ready for the year one phonics kit I find while tidying.

{tigerboy} fell asleep without milk. Probably because he ate more chicken than I did. Has absolutely cracked motion and discovered the hall.

I love that Mrs Teepot tried this out, her snippets are here

  1. You are so lucky to be able to pop out and see the sea. Beautiful photo.

I need to read more of these snippet posts. They make me smile. Glad you got some you time. Sounds like all is well-hope that’s the case, anyway. Long time no speak. You now have crawling tigers and a very grown up smallest. Where does the time go?! X

  3. Thanks for the mention!
Gorgeous shot of the sea, you’re so lucky!
