Saturday snippets 21 November 2015

{travelling} to London, for HP UK event and Blogfest. It was a shame the HP event had to shift, meaning that I missed the morning session (including Rachael’s talk) but I made it to King’s Place in comfortable time for my first clinic at 12.30.

{talking tech} giving advice on wordpress, images, hosting, domain names. Talking tumblr, weebly, blogger as well as wordpress free and hosted.

{drinking} too much without eating. Oops.

{snacking} on all sorts of bizarre stuff.

{wondering} how I’m going to carry all this stuff home. And why anyone would think mayonnaise in a goody bag is a good idea. Do you know how much a jar of mayonnaise weighs??

Big has finished her first iGCSE exams, and improved two of her PBs at the swim gala last weekend. Small has completed his beginner’s fencing course and now started actually fencing – I had to sign him up as a member of British Fencing and everything. Smallest swam! No floats or anything. Apparently not very far as she has a tendency to sink, but next week she’s going to swim further. Tigerboy has been doing some fab drawings, they are suddenly starting to look like things. And he really really likes Tiggly games on the iPad.

I submitted an application to be a brand ambassador for an art brand. I’m not expecting to get any further than application stage, but just overcoming the fear and sending it in was quite a huge step. (Some of the art looks like this.)
