{avoiding} running. Woke up with a sugar low and didn’t think collapsing somewhere on the beach was a particularly good idea. Hoping it’s dry for a run in the morning.

{reading} The Taste of Darkness by Maria Snyder. I seem to be going through one of those hard to concentrate phases and I haven’t found much time for reading recently. Must try harder.

{watching} the Snowdog with the children (review and giveaway coming tomorrow). And missing Monsters High, which the rest of them enjoyed for family film night.

{enjoying} Big’s enjoyment at her swimming gala tonight. She went out determined to do her best and tried every race she could, and really shone. I am proud of her.

{pondering} whether it’s really cost efficient to run round half a dozen shops to buy the cheapest thing in each place, or whether it would be better to have that extra hour to actually do stuff. And wondering where to get the motivation to do stuff.

{decluttering} two books and an extra Guess Who game onto the swimming club raffle table. Yay me!

Big has new PBs in five swimming events tonight, Small is having a great time learning to code in javascript to expand his minecraft, Smallest has achieved 4 (and had a very lovely day celebrating with family) and Tigerboy has added emphatic nodding and shaking of the head to his communication skills.
