Saturday Snippets 15 June 2013

{learning} about twitter cards. And writing it up over there at Technology Solved.

{nursing} poorly sick Smallest. She’s suffering side effects from her MMR 🙁

{watching} City of Ember Small was unimpressed, and we had some interesting discussion on how evolution works, but the rest of us rather enjoyed it. Good cast, somewhat underused in the case of Tim Robbins at least.

{eating} roast chicken. I do like how easy roast chicken is, and it’s forgiving of the film being longer than I realised 😉

{drinking} beer! for the first time in a couple of weeks I got myself some beer. Bud, in case you’re wondering. Yes, I know, I’m a lightweight, and a real ale traitor and all that kind of thing. I don’t care.

{waiting} for my rose, and wondering if it will bloom on the longest day.

{Snapshots}

Big is learning to do eyelets and doing a lot of them. That’s what tudor clothing does for you. Small looked up and ordered a book from the library! This is a huge step for him. All down to the Pendragon series by Katherine Roberts. Smallest has had a slightly miserable week, but we have managed some arts and crafts. Tigerboy is working on that change from a baby to a toddler. Bittersweet.

Me? I am still grappling with my own abilities and weaknesses. Must explore further.
