{travelling} on trains and tubes

{testing} toys

{talking} with Pinkoddy. Sad to realise I came close to a potential meet with Hannah and couldn’t quite fit it in though.

{discovering} the Greeks with a family backpack at the British Museum. I finally feel like a real home educator – for years I’ve been listening to friends going on about the London museums and we’ve never been. When we were in Yorkshire we were too far away. Since we’ve been in Suffolk, there have usually been babies. Today it worked to do an event (which we got travel expenses for) and then spend a couple of hours at the British Museum. And it was, in the words of Small, wow, amazing and awesome.

{watching} Agents of SHIELD. We didn’t get home in time to fit in a full #familyfilmnight, but at least this meant we still sat down with popcorn for shared watching. There’s not really enough in it to keep the adults amused if the children weren’t enjoying it, but it’s fun enough.

{sniffing and sneezing} the first cold of the winter has hit hard. Smallest is in bed already, Tim and Big have had a very quiet day at home.

{winning} an iPad mini! I love twitter so much. This was part of the Netmums AQFKids chat yesterday, and I lost most of the rest of the day running around feeling very pleased 🙂 🙂

{Snapshots}

Big made her first early Wed morning swim and has cranked up her one land training this week. Small loved the British Museum and has raved about it all night. Smallest now wears pants and is 90% dry overnight. Tigerboy played Dobble – which considering that he doesn’t speak was kind of impressive. He pointed to the matching symbol instead.

Fancy writing up your day and your week? Feel free to link it up if you do.

  1. Shame you couldn’t make the Junior Scholars event this morning, Would have been great to meet you. Glad you had fun in London though. Despite only living 10 miles away or something, we hardly ever go either! I really must change that!
    Hope the sniffs and sneezes don’t last long x

    1. Hadn’t realised you were there too! 🙁

  2. Sorry we missed you today, we should arrange to meet up in London sometime and go to a Museum together perhaps x

    1. That would be lovely.

  3. I’m in! I like your weeks and I’ve been reading Jo and Hannah’s ones too and thought I should get into it now I don’t have the time to update as much as I used to.
    Ooh and well done on winning the iPad Mini! I love mine, although it’s very full. I can’t decide what to move from it at the moment 🙁

    1. Be lovely to have you 🙂
