Saturday snippets 11 July 2015

{eating} our final Hello Fresh meal of the week. Disappointingly, it was the weakest one, although still perfectly acceptable. Unless you’re Small, Smallest or Tigerboy, who all thought it was inedible. Cat was happy though 😉

{watching} Warehouse 13 Season 5 which has popped (back) up on Netflix. It’s a bit strange. And there’s only 6 episodes, one of which was almost entirely in Spanish. (I don’t speak Spanish, but I started learning on Duolingo, and I’ve got some Flashsticks post its to decorate the house with *and* a twitter pal says we can chat via Skype or Google to practice pronunciation. So I guess maybe I’ll learn Spanish 🙂 )

{reading} in the sunlight. In the garden. I’m reading Rebecca, which I’d never read before. Been talking to Tim, and from what I remember of our reading lists at school, there was kind of a chunk missing. Basically everything in between the Brontes and the second world war. Very odd. Anyway, I’m very much enjoying it. full review to follow very soon.

{enjoying} my new camera. Very much. Although I’ve still not managed to get any pictures of seagulls. They’re very shy it seems.

{drawing} on paper, on the ground, on the iPad. With pencil, charcoal, chalk, my finger. Having fun.

#52memories (will pop a better version of this up tomorrow)

Snapshots

Big had another lovely day out with friends today, but forgot to get her sun lotion out of her bag. It’s a learning experience, honestly. Small trained an XBox One. He couldn’t wait for me to get it out of the box, so did it all himself, without the manual. Can’t think who he takes after 😉 Smallest has been doing some fab drawing, mainly of ghosts. Tigerboy ran an impressive temperature for two days, and has had his first bout of tonsillitis. Which at least makes a change from chest infections.
