{watching} Meet the Robinsons on netflix for familyfilmnight. Carefully chosen in the hope that Smallest would enjoy it, as for some reason she’s very anti family films at the moment. It worked. And the bonus was that the rest of us quite enjoyed it too, despite the painfully obvious plot holes.
{reading} From Here to Maternity pregnancy and motherhood on the autistic spectrum. Full review to follow this week.
{enjoying} friends popping round, and children getting outside in the sunshine. Tigerboy in particular is much better if he’s done lots of running around outside, otherwise he is quite literally climbing the walls. Or the loft stairs, which was a heart in mouth moment!
{planting} a new blog header. Which is not the way it usually works, I know, but I am still pondering on my redesign, which I want to incorporate the iris I’ve had for the last decade, but possibly using my own photography or art work. So growing some to work with seemed like a plan, when I spotted them in the coop. Just hoping that I get a purple one now! I also dug over a flower bed, but less said about that the better, as I nearly crippled myself in the process.
{applying} for a blogger trip to Austria. This isn’t a travel blog (with the exception of a spot of time travelling 😉 ), mainly because we can’t afford to travel. I’d love to though – camper van, or train journeys, and I’d love to explore a variety of different countries. So when I saw the #inAustria campaign advertised, I thought, nothing ventured, nothing gained, and stuck my name in the hat. I’ve attempted a couple of travel company ambassador campaigns before now without any success, but try try and all that 😉
{beginning} to consider Kentwell costumes. Hohum. Less said about that the better.

Big has had another busy week, socially speaking, in fact we’ve barely seen her. But swimming is back and everything else follows on, so things will settle down again after the weekend. Small has particularly enjoyed the XYZ tiles, and was thrilled when a second pack arrived yesterday. More large builds to follow methinks. Smallest and I had a trip to London just the two of us, and she’s remarkably good company. Looking forward to doing that again very soon. Tigerboy is enjoying pushing every boundary he possibly can. Which is entertaining. Sort of.
Me – I’ve done a bit of drawing, mainly copying again. Big and I bought a Derwent pencils sketching set between us, and she got stuck in straight away when it arrived, but I’m feeling a little nervous. Need to overcome that tomorrow I think.
