{reading} Mercedes Lackey From a High Tower (Elemental Masters). I do love this kind of fantasy, and it’s been a while since I’ve read one. Ripping yarn, nice bit of magic, fun characters. What’s not to like?

{eating} a weird mix of various leftover stuff from the fridge and the freezer. Trying to clear out so that nothing is wasted.

{watching} Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey on Netflix. I do love our family film night sessions – we appear to have mislaid most of the children, there’s only Small still watching (and giggling) but that still means that part of the family is having fun.

{running} along the sea front. At least I’m running, even if it wasn’t very far or very fast.

{enjoying} the sky. We do seem to get particularly good skies here. Bizarre weather yesterday mind, when there was rain, and hail, and floods all in the space of about 20 minutes. However, really glorious sunset to make up for it.

{experimenting} with rhubarb. Having made jam earlier in the week, tonight I adapted a recipe and made rhubarb and ginger crumble traybake. It was rather good. Watch out for a recipe post in the next couple of days. (I know, two recipes in one week! Scary, eh?)

Snapshots

Big has been out for the day to the Oyster Fayre with Kentwell friends. Small won a competition by submitting a drakon picture via my twitter, and is very pleased with himself. Both Smallest and Tigerboy have learnt to walk on stilts this week, which is a definite achievement I think. (Pictures widely spread across social media, eg instagram and facebook.

I don’t seem to have done any drawing this week. Not sure how that’s happened. Hm. I did bake though 🙂
