Sarah Jane

I am glad to hear that the rumours of Doctor Who’s death have been exaggerated.

Also, I must admit I am looking forward to more of the Sarah Jane Adventures, Torchwood is ok, but I really wouldn’t miss it much.

Anyway, Sarah Jane. Production on the full series began in April 2007 and apparently, episodes one and two are set in a school and rumoured to feature the Slitheen. Filming has been taking place at Cardiff High School, which is appearing as the fictional Park Vale Comprehensive.

Episodes three and four are to be set in an old person’s home and involve a mysterious group of nuns.

Episodes seven and eight revolve around Sarah Jane’s pre-Doctor childhood and the story is said to be darker than the rest of the series.

Maybe we need to rename this site “Live Other Times” or “Daleking It Up”, then we can switch to just blogging about Doctor Who. 🙂

We like Sarah Jane too, although I did pull a face at the sonic lipstick! Kids would like more K9 please….
Did think last weeks (and potentially this weeks) Dr Who was too scary for my 2. I’m glad I vetoed them watching it last week.

  3. Oh dear t-bird, no, you didn’t sleep through a whole assistant, although come to think about it, it was probably on after your bed time.
    This Sarah Jane.

  4. Ah, yes, in 1976 I was still only 6 and therefore far too young for scary things like Dr Who (funny that, Aprlia watched her first ever episode with me tonight…. she didn’t follow the plot at all so hopefully she won’t want to watch it again!)
Guessing the Sarah Jane episode was on past 8pm then if it was past my bed time….

  5. my two adore K9 too, despite never having seen an episode featuring him. When I saw the post title I was afraid it would be about Sarah Jane from Tikkabilla! 😆
