Running to the sunset

Today I was out and about as 4 o clock approached, and the sky was stunning. I headed towards the beach, and as my 3 minute warning alarm went off (obsessive, me?), I was running down the hill to get a good vantage point.

I think it was worth it.

It’s usually worth it.

It’s usually worth running towards the future, instead of sitting around in the present. Why do I find that so difficult to remember on a morning when I can’t drag myself up, on a night when I play wordament instead of going to bed?

Tonight, I’m going to bed a couple of hours earlier than I have been doing, and getting up early in the morning for a day out being a blogger. It could well be the break from routine that I need. Here’s hoping.

What would you run towards?
