Small is just full of cold – I hauled myself upstairs and steamed myself gently in the shower for a bit and that seemed to help. Once done with that, rolled up my sleeves, metaphorically speaking, and cracked on.
Big did lunch again, while I was showering, and after it we successfully made cinnamon scented bath thingies that only took a couple of hours to set, painted two silk pictures that will make rather nice calendar presents, and porcelain painted two mugs. And during this, Small dismantled the living room. If there was ever a reason to hold off on decorating for Christmas, he is it. Today he climbed onto the table to get things off the cd shelves, scaled the bookcase and got our button-eggbox spindle box substitute down (I may never find all of the buttons) emptied out several boxes of jigsaws and found a stash of broken remote controls I didn’t even know we had. He can also now turn on his mini keyboard and turn up the volume, previous to this, he’d only been able to turn it off and then whimper about it for a while.
In between making things, Big kept on with a stream of consciousness of questions – how do you make bread, what’s a magic potion being the two that spring to mind just now, as well as deciding to decipher all of the early learning alphabet toy by working back from the pictures to the letters (real confusion over d, b, p, q), and going on about numbers some more. She was also very thrilled when I suggested she might like at some point to put some of her pictures on the blog, but didn’t get to it tonight.
Hohum, guess we’ve another blogger in the family then. I also fitted in a few bits of work, and have spent the evening scratching my head over some very unpleasant php code that needs modifying. Have I mentioned before how much I *hate* open source code?
I didn’t get my nap this afternoon, so I’m off to bed now.

Night Jax, and thanks for the archive stuff today 🙂
Thanks for talking me through decorating my blog too.
Oh have you mentioned open source code before? – your blog is so brilliant that that kind of talk just goes over my head LOL 😉
