Rice for tea?

Wasn’t ready for lunch, not convinced it’s going to be ready for tea actually. Can see why solar cooking hasn’t caught on in this country 😉

Other than that, it’s been a peculiar day. May blog some aspects of it in a password protected post later, but I will say here that I have another interview (different company, same agency) on Monday.

Sarah came round with Dino and a black pan to contribute to our solar cooking efforts, and had lunch, which was extremely pleasant. Small is pottering about in pants (think we’re on the fifth pair!) and has just discovered interesting properties of his anatomy if he plays with it. Oh good.

Think we’ll invest in some oven baking bags and give solar cooking another whirl tomorrow. Maybe. Although I was pondering a trip to Doncaster, but that will have to be put off – I know that the risk is absolutely minimal of Kris’s offspring spotting up now, but I also *know* that if I take Small anywhere near her, they will spot up instantly, and that’ll be Kessingland out of the window! Hm. Will think more.

Children outside with tea now, I do love this kind of weather. Big has just requested her maths workbook, so might have to see if I can find that as well 🙂
