Quick recap Weds

Realised I didn’t actually blog yesterday, just did a spot of ranting. Ah well. Not sure what I really did yesterday – I felt really wiped out for most of the day for no apparent reason. I did spend quality time with the children, erecting one of Small’s christmas presents, a particularly enchanting plastic castle play set that had no instructions, and only a picture from the front on the front of the (very large) box. It took me an hour, and I’d given up on some of the joints when Tim walked back in from his meeting earlier than expected and managed to finish it off.

Oh, and of course, this was the day that I discovered Harry Potter even beats breakfast. Big didn’t go downstairs until nearly 10 o’clock, had her breakfast quickly and then retired back to bed to read some more! This is completely unheard of, I have never seen her addicted to a book the way she has been to this one. She’s finished it tonight (it went on the train and round Manchester today) and I’ve promised her a trip round the charity shops tomorrow looking for book 4. 😀

Small enjoyed playing with his castle. He managed to get himself a computer ban for pushing Big over again after being warning against it, but wasn’t particularly bothered given he had the castle instead. He’s stopped reading HP – think that Big reading so fast and leaving him behind put him off, which is rather a shame. Daresay he’ll get back to it though.

And that’s your lot for Weds. Can’t remember any more, and need to blog Thurs before I can’t remember that either!
