Please explain to me

the rationale behind putting the window in and taking the CD/ Radio from an R registered Merc? Is that really going to be of any use to anyone? They even left the in car charger for Blackberry and a tool box, taking only the radio.

I was supposed to be going to York today, to meet up with friends at Yorvik. Instead Tim has gone off with tearful children, and I’m waiting for the second batch of police officers – first one has been and gone and called for SOCO as there is the possibility of fingerprints and bootprints. Neighbour over the road came shooting out and will be reviewing his CCTV footage as apparently he’s caught ppl on it before.

I am utterly utterly irritated. I have used lots of words this morning that I do not usually use within hearing of children, hadn’t realised how upset they were about it until I passed the directions to Tim and saw that they were both sitting crying in the back seat. I hope they have a lovely day anyway – I’m going to put the kettle on again, and then sort out this room and make a start on room upstairs, might as well make this day count for something. Oh and I need to find my insurance policy – I’m assuming I need to report this? Don’t have incident number yet, officer no 1 will be ringing back with it soon.

Honestly, there are some complete thugs around. Mindless animals. I can’t wait to move away from here and make a fresh start somewhere else – might call the landlord as well, and see whether there is any possibility that we can finish this contract early, get out end of January perhaps. If we do that we’ll probably have to go back to old house, which will psychologically feel very bad, but it may be better in the long run, difficult to say.

  1. ARGH.
What a rotten pain in the bum. I am sorry you are missing out on your day. I’ll twitter in sympathy with you all day instead if you like? I’ve got to spend the day at home while watching my unpacked order level rise to about 800. Not quite the same, i know, but at least we can stress in unison 🙁

  2. Well, that’s what i meant! I did prefer the verb “to twitter” though! 😉

  3. Sorry to hear this Jax. It happened to me a few weeks ago and it’s just so pointless and frustrating. The glass took ages to clear up and even then I missed a splinter and Pea1’s finger found it :-(. Hope Tim and all have had a good day and the rest of the day was better for you x

  4. Oh, what rotten luck! Hope the day improves for you.
