Playmobil Easter Eggs

It can hardly have escaped your notice that Easter is fast approaching. My children were lucky enough to get their first Easter eggs a little early.

They were Playmobil Easter Eggs.

Aren’t they just wonderful? They come in a cardboard sleeve, so minimal excess packaging, and then the plastic egg case is a useful storage case for the toys.

And the contents. We were sent three for review – I apologise for there being no pictures in this set of the third, but I gave it to Tigerboy and trying to assemble enough pieces for a photoshoot after a 3 year old has had his way with it…

The missing one was a rather fab tractor set with a little boy and some carrots. And the others?

This is Playmobil at the beach. Woman and two children, beach toys, lilo, bag with bottle, apple juice and I’m sure there was some sun lotion at one point.

(I’m not sure whether that is a bottle or a glass… I know which ones works best for me though 😉 )

And the other one?

Pirates, of course! We’re fond of Playmobil pirates here. But the one thing that was missing from our Pirate ship set was a gold chest. So it’s good that this chap went to fetch it.

(No, we won’t mention his missing oar. I obviously found it right after the sun went in… sigh…)

Doesn’t the gold gleam well in the sun? (I’m getting better at this photography lark aren’t I?)

There’s a range of the Playmobil Eggs, available from the Playmobil shop online starting at £6.99. As far as I’m concerned that’s a much better way to spend Easter money than on yet another chocolate egg that will be gone by the end of the day. (Ooh, just noticed they’ve got the Easter calendar we reviewed last year for just £9.99). (Other retailers (amazon) are available.)

Disclosure: we are Playmobil playologists, part of a brand ambassador/ review scheme. Opinions, and pictures, are my own. Amazon links are affiliate links.

  1. Ooh I really like these. They feel so much more special than just an egg. We are quite new to loving play boil but quickly developing an obsession!

I think they’re brilliant Helen, and yes I’m a biased Playmobil fan 😉 but so much better value than a chocolate egg gone in a day!

  2. Absolutely marvelous toys, very inventive.
    Cheers Sharon…

  3. I am curious to find out what blog system you’re utilizing? I’m experiencing some small security issues with my latest website and I would like to find something more secure. Do you have any recommendations?|
