Planning a Playmobil Christmas.

Yes, I’m sorry, I mentioned the C word. But the one thing that you kind of need to plan before December is your advent calendar, and once again, we’re going Playmobil style, in our role as Playologists.

My children will be counting down to the festivities with the help of a whole bunch of Playmobil dragons, in the

Playmobil Advent Calendar Dragons Treasure Battle 5493. (I think. I stashed it upstairs in the advent box when it arrived, my bad, and although I was sure I took pictures first, I can’t find them now. Oops. Anyway, I definitely remember it had dragons on it….)

Here’s a picture link. Maybe that will help.

(And you can see the full range on Playmobil’s own site.)

That’s the one drawback of being sent advent calendars to talk about. You need to talk about them before you want to use them. I should have just let them count down through November really, but that would have required me being organised, and as I’ve mentioned a time or three in the past, I don’t really do organisation. Sorry.

We’ve reviewed some fabulous Playmobil toys this year. First of all there was the Noah’s Ark, (currently half price at

Argos)

Then of course there was the rather lovely Easter Calendar.

And the pirate ship. Who could forget the pirate ship.

And of course, as mentioned in the pirate review, we’ve been to see the 40th celebration tour a couple of times. playmobil shield 40 memory

We’ve even got the The Official PLAYMOBIL Annual 2015 as well. It’s all knights and dragon themed, so it goes really well with the advent calendar.

I confess that what I really want though, isn’t for the kids. It’s not even made of plastic. What I want, what I would absolutely love, is one of the limited edition PLAYMOhair hats.

Aren’t they just marvellous? Basically you can be your very own lifesize Playmobil figure. (I wonder if you can get the costumes too. Particularly the swords.) I am so so tempted. You can buy them online here (If you get one, do ping me a selfie.)

So, will Playmobil be a part of your Christmas then?
