time to take a break from the studying, and catch up with the blogging, maybe do some (paying) work…
So, today.
Yet another horrendous night with Small. Despite the blackout blind, he was up with the birds 🙁 throwing himself round the bed, under the covers, out….you get the picture. Not quite sure at what point he keeled over again, but I was only vaguely aware when he decided it was time to get up, and thankfully Tim took him away. He wasn’t happy that there was no Big, but I think Tim did an acceptable job of feeding him breakfast in her place 😉
She was back round about 11am, attitude and all 🙁 First time she’s come back from that particular place with that particular attitude (we often get it from exposure to less known families/friends) and I was *not* impressed. I did make several comments about it during the day, but I finally flipped when I found her tormenting Small in the garden – poor little so and so still wasn’t 100% and he was just wailing plaintively at horrid big sister 🙁 I’m going to give her the benefit of the doubt and assume that she wasn’t 100% either, but if she’s still being horrid tomorrow, might employ the curriculum Merry‘s found 🙂
Despite that, we did manage to fit in some enjoyable moments. They both made bricks to send in to cbeebies – tell me, how does Small know how that works? I’ve done next to no crafty stuff with him, I’m really not big on sticking and cutting. But he sat himself down and just got on with it – I’ve got photos…but they’ll have to wait til tomorrow or I won’t get that work done! We got out in the garden for a while this afternoon – was lovely once the ground had had a bit of a chance to dry out. Could be the last time this week looking at the forecast though 🙁 Must remember to get the washing in before I go to bed.
Ooh, nearly forgot to blog Big reading a red nose reader all by herself – she really does like those books!

I have strange empathy with Small this morning – hope he’s not up at this unearthly hour!

um, I think he might have been trying to be. Although it might have been earlier that he pulled his stunts last night 🙁 He woke Tim up to the extent he ended up getting up and wandering off, and it took me ages to get back to sleep.
